Health Partnership Project

The Health Partnership Project has been established to strengthen the relationship between the voluntary and community sector, NHS Bradford and Airedale, the GP Alliances and other partners in the development and provision of community based health and well being services for all.

The project will focus its work around the following priorities:

Capacity building support to the sector
Supporting groups to improve monitoring systems, develop new evaluation and impact measurement systems and effectively deliver health & wellbeing services.

Strategic overview to influence commissioning
Developing relationships with commissioners, contributing to programme steering groups, ensuring that the voluntary and community sector is represented in key decision making.

Information and communication
Supporting voluntary and community sector organisations with distributing information on timely issues, researching and providing information on big national developments. Also providing information to the NHS about specific services in the voluntary and community sector.

Advocating for the sector
Loudly promoting the sector's role in helping the NHS to achieve its goals.

The Health Partnership Project team is based across three infrastructure support organisations – Keighley & Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action (KIVCA), Shipley & Bingley Voluntary Services (SBVS) and Bradford Community and Voluntary Services (Bradford CVS).

The project's Bumps to Babies directory was featured in NHS Bradford & Airedale's newsletter - if you'd like copy of the Bumps to Babies directory, it's available to download from the Health Partnership Project website.
